We work with manufacturers to develop safer and sustainable technologies as well as test protocols for environmental decontamination. Several national and international methods for testing disinfectants and hand hygiene agents are based on methods developed my personnel associated with CREM Co Labs.

We can assess all types of air decontamination technologies against a wide variety of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, bacteriophages, fungi and mycobacteria). Our unique facilities and robust test protocols for studying microbial fate in indoor air and assessing technologies claiming air decontamination comply with the guideline of the U.S. EPA.
The aerobiology protocol developed at CREM Co Labs have become a part of ASTM International’s Standard (ASTM 3273-21) and was referred in AHAM AC-5. CREM Co Labs is AHAM ap-proved laboratory for aerobiology testing. CREM Co Labs gen-erated the data for registration of the first air sanitizer (Lysol) which has been registered by the EPA.
Zebrafish, with 70% similarity with human genome, is a powerful tool for high throughput screening of drugs. 85% of disease-associated genes in humans can be found in zebrafish. Trans-parency of zebrafish allows the ready examination of their inter-nal structures and functions directly. The short generation time makes it possible to yield experimental results in 6 days or less while keeping the costs low.
Available assays:
Anti-oxidation, Melanin Quantification, Parkinson/Alzheimer, Epilepsy, Anxiety/Stress, Brain Microbleeding (BMB)/Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), Wound healing, Diabetes, and various toxicity assays
CREM Co is a contract and R&D laboratory uniquely positioned to provide value to the infection prevention and control (IPAC) industry as well as those working in health-related environmental microbiology and molecular biology.
CREM Co has the expertise for handling all major classes of pathogens in water, food, air, municipal wastes as well as on animate and inanimate surfaces. It can assess disinfectants and antiseptics using internationally accepted test protocols.
